Description

A rich and stunning thumbnail specimen of a very rare member of the Garnet Group, Henritermierite. The Henritermierite forms slightly orange red inter-grown micro-crystals in rod-like forms. The matix for the Henritermierite is a very light yellow Ettringite-Sturmanite, which forms intergrown hexagonal crystals to 0.5cm. A fine rare thumbnail specimen from the Wessels Mine.
