Description

A simply wonderful specimen of heavy gauge (to 2cm!) prismatic crystals of true-pink Cobaltoan Smithsonite upon a silvery sulphide matrix. Most crystals display curving prism faces with satin lustre. The crystals are translucent, the ones closer to the matrix showing through the pink the grey colour of the matrix beneath and are speckled with small Sulphide inclusions. A great arrangement of large, well formed crystals displaying lovely colour.
