Tucson Gem and Mineral Show

The Tucson show is the biggest mineral show in the world! It is estimated that over 50,000 people come to Tucson to visit the show. The show consists of many independantly run shows of both wholesale and retail material of minerals, fossils, gemstones, jewellery, healing and everything related thing that you can think of! Shows are held at 40-50 locations across the city, and they run for several weeks through January and February each year.

at the Hotel Tucson City Centre with a great range of top quality specimens on display in both rooms including our new acquisitions, rare and used books, and of course superb Gold specimens. We also have a huge wholesale room with thousands of quality specimens at keystone prices (we just don't have room for all of our inventory, so we are selling many new collection specimens at bargain prices!). The Tucson Gem & Mineral Society Main Show - 11th to 14th Feb 2010 - 10am-6pm, Sunday to 5pm

This show is run by the Tucson Gem and Mineral Society, and for most is the final and main show of Tuscon. This is the show that started them all, held annually since 1955. It is held on the second full weekend of February each year in the Tucson Convention Centre, now with an estimated 240 dealers.

We have a huge booth at this show - one of the biggest on the main floor. At this show there are fantastic displays from museums from around the world, from prominent private collectors and dealers; as well as competitive displays from both beginners and experienced collectors; and free lectures and seminars.

The theme for 2009 was 'Mineral Oddities' and certainly proved to be filled with unusual displays.

This years theme is 'Gems and Gem Minerals' which guarantees some gorgeous displays!
